Most agencies make you book a call to hear a number. We would rather you knew roughly where you stand now. The ranges below are real planning figures for 2026, not a sales anchor, and they are the same ones published in our cost guide.
Indicative ranges by project type
| Project type | India (INR) | Approx. (USD) |
|---|---|---|
| Simple web app or internal tool (MVP, basic CRUD, single role) | ₹5–15 lakh | $6,000–$18,000 |
| Mid-complexity business application (multiple roles, dashboards, integrations) | ₹15–45 lakh | $18,000–$54,000 |
| Custom CRM or ERP module | ₹25–70 lakh | $30,000–$85,000 |
| SaaS product (multi-tenant, billing, admin, customer portal) | ₹40 lakh–1.2 crore | $48,000–$145,000 |
| Enterprise platform (microservices, Azure cloud-native, compliance) | ₹80 lakh–2.5 crore+ | $95,000–$300,000+ |
A rule of thumb: most serious custom business applications land between ₹15 lakh and ₹60 lakh for a first production-ready release, then carry an ongoing enhancement and support budget. Anyone quoting a firm price before seeing your requirements is guessing.
Engagement models
Fixed price
Best for: a well-defined, stable scope.
You get budget certainty. Change requests are billed separately, and we price in some risk — which is the honest trade for that certainty.
Time & materials
Best for: requirements that will evolve.
You pay for actual effort, billed per sprint, with a working demo every two weeks. Most modern projects run this way.
Dedicated team
Best for: a long-running product.
A ring-fenced team on a monthly retainer — for example three developers, QA and a part-time architect. A team of four typically runs ₹5–9 lakh per month.
Included in every engagement
- A named technical lead who stays on your project
- Sprint demos every two weeks, with access to the Azure DevOps board
- Source code and IP assigned to you
- Automated tests and deployment pipelines, not just working code
- Documented handover, so you are never locked in
- An NDA before we discuss anything specific
Frequently Asked Questions
Why publish prices when most agencies do not?
Because it saves us both time. If your budget and these ranges are far apart, one of us would have discovered that on a call anyway — this way neither of us spends an hour finding out.
What drives the cost most?
Scope and data readiness, in that order. The number of screens, roles and integrations sets the size of the build; the state of your existing data decides how much of it is migration work rather than development.
Do you work with startups on smaller budgets?
Yes, where the scope is genuinely small — an MVP or an internal tool. What we will not do is take a ₹40 lakh scope on a ₹8 lakh budget and quietly cut testing to make it fit.
How do you bill, and in what currency?
Monthly in arrears against a signed SOW, in INR, USD, GBP or AED. Dedicated teams are billed monthly in advance.
What happens after launch?
Most clients move to a support and enhancement retainer sized to the system. Plan for it as an ongoing line, not an afterthought — software that is used keeps changing.
